Superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and 54 others have received the prestigious Padma awards from Indian President Pranab Mukherjee in a grand ceremony.
Appreciating his extraordinary contribution to the world of Cinema, Rajinilkanth have been conferred with Padma Vibhushan award.
The Enthiran actor has earlier received Padma Bhushan in 2000.Actress Priyanka Chopra has received Padma Shri for her contribution to the cinema and taking it to the global level. She is currently acting in the Hollywood film “Baywatch” with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the lead.Singer Udit Narayan, Tennis star Sania Mirza have received the Padma Bhushan award.
